Equity Statement

Daily Blessings Farm commits to upholding an equitable, inclusive, and respectful on-farm experience and work environment. Daily Blessings Farm welcomes people of all backgrounds and walks of life. We appreciate diversity and request that all guests and farm crew members help us maintain this environment.

We believe:

1. building a culture of equity is a journey that includes a lifetime of learning and sometimes re-learning.

2. the perspectives shared in an equitable, diverse and inclusive workplace makes us better servants of the community.

3. food is medicine and everyone has a right to access fresh, healthy food.  The dietary choices that we make impact our health, however the inequities of our food and health systems disproportionately impact marginalized populations creating a perpetual cycle of poverty and illness.

4. an equitable food system is intertwined with social and racial justice. 

5. Daily Blessings Farm provides centralized space for humans to gather and connect with the common need to eat healthy food. 

6. it is our responsibility, as a food producer, to feed and educate the community, to help grow healthy individuals, and become stewards for Earth’s gift of natural resources.

7. we will make mistakes. In our efforts to promote an equitable society, we commit to holding ourselves accountable; acknowledging mistakes, reflecting on improvements and trying again. Each mistake is a teachable moment.
